An international firm is seeking a Corporate M&A associate to join their team in Hong Kong. As an experienced associate, you will have the opportunity to advance your career within a high-achievement, yet supportive environment. The Role:

In this role you will advise on general corporate matters, with a focus on M&A transactions, IPOs, and regulatory compliance, particularly in Hong Kong, PRC, and international markets. You will also handle transactions and compliance matters for listed companies, with knowledge of the Hong Kong Listing Rules ‍

Requirements:

• Qualified in Hong Kong with 2+ years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably within an international law firm

• Strong general corporate experience, including exposure to M&A, IPOs, and regulatory compliance

• Familiarity with Hong Kong Listing Rules and the Takeover Code is advantageous

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and strong Mandarin capability), with excellent English drafting and writing skills

• A strong academic background and outstanding analytical and communication skills
