A leading national firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its well-regarded Government Advisory team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work with renowned Partners Mark Henry and Angela Barac, focusing on providing merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role:
As a Litigation Associate, you will manage your own matters and contribute to complex and high-profile cases. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting summaries of evidence and statements of issues, assisting with and attending case conferences and hearings, conducting directions hearings, drafting litigation strategies, and interpreting complex statutes.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally with government advisory work and a strong interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation
• Background in government work or similar experience in a law firm
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Collegiate approach and a desire to work collaboratively in a team
