A market leading firm is seeking an Energy & Resources senior associate to join their Sydney team. This team’s Energy & Resources practice is recognised for advising on market-leading projects across the full lifecycle—from finance and acquisitions to project development, construction, and operations.

The Role:

In this role, you will work on some of the most impactful energy and resources projects in Australia, including energy transition and renewable energy initiatives. You will be advising private sector and government clients on a broad range of matters, including M&A, project development, public international law, and energy security. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated and ambitious team that thrives on tackling technically challenging and strategic matters.

Requirements:

• 6+ years PQE with a strong focus within the energy and resources sector

• Australian or New Zealand qualification  

• Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

• Experience in handling complex transactions and providing high-level strategic advice

• Desire to work on technically challenging projects in a dynamic sector
