Construction Lawyer

A prominent national law firm is seeking a skilled construction associate to join its Melbourne team. Working closely with three partners, this front-end role will involve advising private and public sector clients on construction, infrastructure, renewable and conventional energy, major projects, and engineering.

The Role:
As an associate in this team, you will gain exposure to a wide range of transactions across the public and private sectors. You will be expected to manage transactions, work closely with clients, and support junior team members. This role offers significant responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to the team’s growth.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of post-admission experience in front-end construction and infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical skills and confidence in leading transactions
  • Experience working with both private and public sector clients
  • Ability to supervise junior lawyers and work autonomously with partner support
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
