1. Take a trip to the Royal National Park
If you are the outdoorsy type then you will definitely appreciate a weekend getaway to the Royal National Park. Located just South of Sydney, it’s a great place to relax and recuperate whilst camping, biking or take a walk in the park. This is a perfect escape from the businesses of the beaches at this time of the year.
2. Visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales
The Art Gallery of New South Wales is the most important public gallery in Sydney. If you are new to Sydney or have not yet explored the gallery this is a great place to learn about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art, Asian Art, Australian Art as even photography by the likes of Tracey Moffatt, Fiona Hall and Max Pam.
3. Surprise your palette

4. Do something adventurous

You could also try your hand at parasailing around Manly or whip out your GoPro and witness a sunrise in a hot air balloon.
5. Take a coastal walk
The beauty of Sydney is the diversity in landscapes that it offers – from the city high rises to breathtaking vistas of the coast. The perfect way to take full vantage of the impressive coastal views that Sydney is famous for is to admire them on a coastal walk.
